Occupational Therapist

Now Hiring Full Time and Part Time Pediatric Occupational Therapist. Occupational Therapists will provide evaluation and treatment services for school and clinical based cases.

Ideal Occupational Therapist candidate will have at least three years pediatric experience, be licensed and fully credentialed.

Essential Job Duties:
• Occupational Therapist will provide treatment to children with developmental delays, including evaluation, planning, treatment, documentation, and professional communication
• Occupational Therapist provide direct services using various strategies including sensory integration, therapeutic listening, and assistive technology
• Occupational Therapist devise, implement, and revise relevant treatment plans, evaluation reports, and home and center programs
• Occupational Therapist will advise parents, family members, and teachers on implementation of programs
• Occupational Therapist will train other professionals in therapy delivery
• Occupational Therapist will provide training and supervision for COTAs
• Occupational Therapist will work with clients in groups to deliver therapy
• Occupational Therapist will write and maintain confidential client case notes and reports, as well as information for parents and other professionals
• Occupational Therapist will work with others to improve the effectiveness of service delivery
• Plan and deliver training sessions
• Participate in research projects
• Perform any additional duties as deemed necessary by the director

Candidates must possess the three criminal background checks(Act 33, Act 34, and Act 114) and Act 168 prior to start date. Criminal background checks must have been completed within the past year.
