Alexis Koll

Special Education Teacher

Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Special and Early Education from Grove City College

Focus of Practice: Special Education

Experience: Alexis Schwartz joined The Hope Learning Center in 2017. Alexis is a recent graduate of the Special and Early Education program at Grove City college and has gained her experience through education, and internships in inclusion classrooms and working with students with Autism and Learning Disabilities. Alexis has also worked with sports outreach in the Dominican Republic with inner city youth during her career.

Alexandra Javens, M.Ed.

Special Education Teacher

Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood and Special Education as well as a Master of Education with an emphasis on Autism from Slippery Rock University.

Focus of Practice: Special Education

Experience: Alexandra Javens joined The Hope Learning Center in 2018. She has been teaching since 2015 and has gained experience with Verbal Behavior Programming for the last three years of her career. Ms. Javens is trained in the VB Boot Camp as well as the Early Learner Boot Camp and is currently studying Special Education at the Doctoral level and will complete this degree in 2021.

Brandon Glenn

Special Education Teacher

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Special Education from Waynesburg University

Focus of Practice: Education PreK-4, Special Education PreK-8, Special Education 7-12

Experience: Brandon joined The Hope Learning Center in 2018. During his time at Waynesburg University, he gained valuable experience working in multiple classroom settings for students with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities. Prior to joining The Hope Learning Center, Brandon worked at The Watson Institute for 6 years. He spent 4 years as an instructional aide in multiple classrooms and as a teacher for 2 years.

Kristen Yeo, M.Ed.

Special Education Teacher

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Carlow University and Master's Degree in Education from University of Pittsburgh and Applied Behavior Analysis Certification

Focus of Practice: Education PreK-4, Special Education PreK-8, Special Education 7-12

Experience: Kristen joined The Hope Learning Center in 2018. Kristen has spent the past few years gaining her experience working in schools with students anywhere from 5-21 years old with Multiple Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Currently Miss Yeo is studying for her BCBA exam.
